Wife of Robert Joseph and the late Herman Umof; mother of Michelle (George) Detwiler, Sheri (Carl) Miosi, stepmother of Dennis Joseph, Edith Hunt and Paul (Jeannie) and Francine Umof; sister of Helene (late Don) Barish, Sandra (Herbert) Newman, the late Phyllis (late Sam) Barish and the late Doreen (late Albert) Gold; grandmother of Alicia (Adam) Schwock, Jacquelyn (Chris) Coyle, Angela (Todd) Robida, C.J. (Corinne) Miosi, Erica (Andrew) Aukland, Natalie (David) Gutterman, Jacquelyn (Josh) Campbell, Rachael (Katchel) and Benjamin Hunt; great grandmother of Vivian, Logan, Daniel, Harper, Zoey, Kaia, Bria, Vera, Tessa, Macy, Lucy, Capri, Stella, Juliette, Noelle, Camille, Eliana, and Colette.

Betteann was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Betteann truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; baking, travel, playing cards, dining out, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was young at heart and had the ability to live in the moment. She left an imprint on all those that were lucky to know her.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday 11:30AM at MESNEKOFF FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst 14051. Shiva will be Thursday 6-9PM and Friday 12-4PM at Sheri and Carl Miosi’s residence, 65 Meadow Spring Ct., E. Amherst 14051.
