Lynn Weissman Klein
July 23, 1950 – May 19, 2025
Lynn Weissman Klein, of East Amherst, passed away on May 19, 2025 after a brief and bravely fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born July 23, 1950, Lynn graduated from Bennett High School in 1968 and from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s in education in 1971. She followed with a master’s degree in education from Canisius University and pursued her passion for teaching. She taught 4th grade for 33 years in the Buffalo City School District. Lynn was active in Temple Beth Zion Sisterhood, where she was past president and sat on the board for many years. She was an active member of the Variety Club of Buffalo and Variety Club Women of Buffalo. Lynn was known for her love of baking, which was nurtured at a young age by her parents who were former owners of Iroquois Bakery. She loved making desserts and her favorite cut-out cookies for all the holidays. Above all, Lynn cherished her time spent with family. She is survived by her husband, Bob Klein; her two sets of identical twin boys: Larry (Sharon), Rich (Amy), Andy (Lauren) and Dan (Lissa) Klein; her brother, Kenneth (Marie) Weissman; her treasured grandchildren: Wesley, Jacob, Lettie, Rachel, Jonah, Emily, Sammy, Isaac and Ava. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Melford and Maxine Weissman. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 23rd at 11 AM at Temple Beth Zion, 805 Delaware Ave., Buffalo 14209.
