Sara Ann Weinstein (nee Massaro)
July 21, 1940 – February 16, 2025
Passed away peacefully in her home. Teri, Sari, and Aunt Fairy, as she was lovingly referred to, was known for her boundless generosity, unwavering kindness, and radiant spirit that touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sara Ann had many passions in life and family was always her priority. She loved creating a warm and welcoming home and entertaining with style and flair. She was an avid Mahjong player, enjoyed travelling with her beloved Arnie, and was always ready for an adventure.
Sara Ann is survived by her loving husband of over forty years, Arnold Weinstein; her son, Frank Arcadi; her stepchildren, Michelle Weinstein, Lori Lewkowicz and Steven Weinstein; her nieces, Rena Caulfield (Mark) Monti and Jennifer Caulfield (Thomas) Van Petten and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Sara Ann was predeceased by her loving grandmother and grandfather, “Mama Jennie” and George Bullaro; her parents, “Kitty” and Joseph Massaro; her beloved sister, Camille, and brother-in-law, Thomas Caulfield.
A celebration of Sara Ann’s life will be held on Thursday, May 22nd, 11 AM at Elmlawn Memorial Park’s Sunrise Mausoleum, 3939 Delaware Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217 where friends and family are invited to gather to honor her legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Thomas and Camille Caulfield Counseling Education Fund at Canisius University, 2001 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14208.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the aid staff of Heart to Home who provided compassionate homecare for Sara Ann during her later years. Sara Ann left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. We will always remember her bright smile, generous spirit, and the love she gave so freely.
