Tolsma, Elaine nee Arnold

January 9, 1932 – July 26, 2025

Beloved wife of the late Richard Tolsma; loving mother of Darcy (Thomas) Spengler, Tracy (Michael) Riegel, Jody (Scott) Kuppinger, Randy (Robyn) Tolsma and Terry (Kathy) Tolsma and the late Wendy Wexler and Gregory Tolsma; mother in law of Scott Wexler and MaryAnn Thomann; sister of the late Kenneth Arnold; sister in law of Judy (Ron) Benson and Carol Arnold; also survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday August 3, 4:30-7:30 PM at MESNEKOFF FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst, NY 14051, with a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday 9:15 AM at St. Leo the Great, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst, NY 14226. Elaine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Elaine was a woman of extraordinary talent and strength. She ran her own dance studio for five decades, was a nursery school teacher and a former Buffalo Bills majorette. She enjoyed spending time at Honeoye Lake and Wilson with family & friends. Art was another passion of hers. Elaine’s greatest pride and joy was her family, as she always put them first. A devoted caregiver, Elaine gave selflessly to others throughout her life. Her loving and caring nature touched everyone who knew her and she will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hydrocephalus Association, 1450 Doebler Dr., N.
