Dawn L. Risner

June 29, 1942 – June 27, 2025

Beloved wife of Gloria Lucker; stepmother of Fred (Dena) Sterns, David Sterns and the late Ellen Sterns Paquin; cherished friend of Karen Lackey; sister of Raymond (Chris) Risner, Beverly (Susan Boitano Brown) Risner, Larry (Mary) Risner, Betty (Gary) Brandon and the late Ron, Gordon, Jack and David Risner, Rosemarie Chamberlain and Carol Batten; sister-in-law of Mary, Bettie, Lorell and Cheryl Risner and Larry Chamberlain; “Grandma Sugar” to 6 grandchildren; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dawn was very proud of her 47 years of sobriety with the help of AA. She was a certified wildlife rehabilitator. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
