Yoav Ehrenhalt

Yoav Ehrenhalt passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
To those who knew him, Yoav was a genuine friend who offered support whenever asked. He brought joy, laughter, and logic to every situation. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you were lucky to know a truly kind soul.
As a graduate of SUNY Maritime, Yoav was a mariner who sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. He was an incredible musician and played with the Roadhouse Gypsies and The Gennies as their drummer, and sat in for other bands across Western New York.
Yoav will be remembered for his friendship, kindness, and care for those he knew.
He is survived by his father, Dan Ehrenhalt; sister, Daphna (Chris Jackson) Ehrenhalt and brother, Dzung Luong; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his mother, Laurie (nee Klein) Wolowitz.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday 11 AM at MESNEKOFF FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst 14051.
