Leslie Cheryl Okun (nee Organek)

April 13, 1964 – February 6, 2024

Devoted mother of Tyler and Ryan Okun; daughter of the late Al and Bernice Organek; cherished sister of Carol (Cliff) MacDonald, Lori (Kim) Benson and the late Michael Organek; loving aunt of Jason and David (Kelia) MacDonald, Justin (Rose) and Steven Benson; great aunt of Jacob Benson; beloved BFF of Angela Colosi, Shehnaz Safiuddin, Renee Slepian and Evelyn Karsky; former wife of Michael Okun.

Leslie graduated with honors from University at Buffalo in 1986 with a degree in business administration. She worked as an accountant. Leslie loved to sing and dance.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday 1PM at MESNEKOFF FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst, NY 14051. A shiva will be held Thursday 3:45-6:45PM at Congregation Shir Shalom, 4660 Sheridan Dr., Williamsville, NY 14221.
