David Buch

March 8, 1927 - December 10, 2023

Husband of the late Drena Buch (nee Yoelof) who passed away in 1998 and Iris Rivo who passed away in 2017; father of Cantor Paul (Lisa) Buch of Claremont, CA; brother of the late Benjamin Bush, John Bush and Joseph Buch; grandfather of Samuel Dylan and Ben Isaac Buch.

David was born in Buffalo, NY to Louis and Bella Buch. He graduated from Bennett High School in 1944 and served in the United States Coast Guard from 1945-46. David did his undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo from 1946-48 and went on to earn his law degree from U.B.’s Law School in 1951. He was admitted to the Bar Association in November 1951 and practiced until 2013. He was an attorney with Kinney, Buch, Mattrey and Marshall. David was also the President of Temple Sinai, 1st Vice President of the Greater Buffalo Advertising Club, President of the Rosa Coplon Jewish Home and Infirmary (predecessor of Weinberg Campus), and President of the Montefiore Club. In addition, David served as public arbitraitor for FINRA and AAA.
